TITU Belgium’s General Administrator Visits Cameroon to Strengthen Technology and Educational Cooperation
Mr. Gholan Malek, General Administrator of Technofest Institute of Technology (TITU) Belgium, completed a 10-day official visit to Cameroon at the invitation of the Minister of Trade and Commerce of Cameroon.
The visit was organized as part of TITU Belgium’s efforts to strengthen international cooperation, promote technology transfer, and expand its educational and innovation activities across Central Africa.
During the visit, Mr. Malek accompanied the Cameroonian Minister of Trade on an official mission to the southeastern region of Cameroon, where a series of meetings were held with senior government officials and other high-level representatives.
Throughout these meetings, Mr. Malek presented the scientific, technological, and educational capabilities of TITU Belgium and discussed potential areas for future cooperation. Particular attention was given to the Institute’s advanced technologies and innovative projects, as well as opportunities for adapting and transferring these technologies to address regional needs and support sustainable development.
The visit also provided an opportunity for Mr. Malek to meet and exchange views with the Ministers of Trade of Gabon and the Central African Republic. During these discussions, he introduced TITU Belgium’s activities in advanced technology, innovation, applied research, professional education, and knowledge transfer. Potential frameworks for future institutional and technological cooperation were also explored.
Another important outcome of the visit was the initial planning for the renewed organization of Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programs for senior executives and high-level managers in the region.
These executive programs are designed with a practical and project-oriented approach, focusing on strategic leadership, organizational development, innovation, executive decision-making, and solving real-world management challenges.
The 10-day mission represents another step in TITU Belgium’s strategy to expand its presence and partnerships in Africa. Through cooperation with governments, institutions, industries, and senior professionals, the Institute aims to contribute to technology transfer, capacity building, executive education, research, and innovation across the region.
TITU Belgium will continue developing international partnerships that connect advanced technological expertise and higher education with the practical development needs of emerging markets.
